Ceramic art coffee table designed by Tue Poulsen for Haslev Mobelsnedkeri
Fascinating piece designed in 1963 by the Danish ceramist Tue Poulsen for the prestigious firm Haslev Mobelsnedkeri A / S. Here is a beautiful and wide coffee table with a robust structure in solid teak wood, which supports an oval top of the most suggestive, turned into a true artistic work thanks to the circular ceramic panels embedded in it, forming a colorful mosaic. (a practice pioneered in the middle of the last century by the French potter Roger Capron) mention that when the sun's rays hit this colorful structure, the warm and earthy tones take on total intensity.
Restored in our department achieving a perfect structural and aesthetic condition.
And remember: as an anecdote to mention that this table was purchased on August 14, 1987 at the Rohde Skandinavische Möbel in Berlin for 2133DM, which is € 1090.59 at the time ... we thank its previous owner for saving the invoice; )
