Søs coffee table ("sweet" in English) created by the promising Danish designer Stine Weigelt for the FDB Møbler label. Made of solid oak (FSC certified by European forests). It features a circular envelope supported by three stylized conical legs; an elegant piece of modern production, with a light appearance, which borrows the best of the classics, giving all the prominence to the beauty of natural wood.

And remember: FDB, the Danish Cooperative Society of Consumers, was born in 1940 creating high-quality furniture by great designers, with a functionalist and democratic production to reach every Danish home. Unfortunately it closed in 1980, but in 2013 the Danish Cooperative relaunched FDB Møbler, reissuing some of the most beloved products of mid-century Danish design, along with new furniture (such as the one here contemplated) inspired by its old collections... and now in El Receidor you can acquire all its catalog ;)
