Danish Leather high lounge Chair BY Trygg Mobler
Comfortable high-back armchair, created in Denmark during the seventies by the Trygg Møbler label. This peculiar suspended-looking design (emulating the Falcon armchair that the Norwegian Sigurd Ressell created in 1970 for the Vatne Møbler label) is created from a hammock-like structure (made with multiple layers of wood and resin, steam bent until the desired shape is achieved) to which a strong cotton canvas base is anchored, on which a soft leather upholstery rests; To finish the icing on the comfort we find it in its wide flown armrests.
In very good condition with minimal signs of use. The leather was re-nourished and hydrated, thus recovering its natural shine and pleasant original texture.
And remember: curious is the history of the Trygg label, since its main activity was the creation of interior staircases in solid wood; But the enormous recognition that Danish furniture had in the rest of Europe from the 60s and its consequent great demand, made them open a furniture division and as we can see, their design department did not "squeeze" their head much to the point. time to create this armchair, very similar to the iconic Falcon ;)
