Danish Teak Extendable Dining Table, 1970s
Original expandable table from the 70's, created in Denmark. Elaboration in teak with a clean and geometric design without more adornments than the beautiful natural veinage of the wood. It is composed of a rectangular envelope (bordered with an elegant curved vertex moulding) that stands on four stylised legs with a circular section. On the short sides of the table extend two wings, hidden under the surface of the tabletop, which allows to increase its size, achieving a total length of 238cm, perfect for eight diners.
In very good structural and aesthetic condition, restored with oil finish. Only to mention that one of the legs is twisted (due to a knot located in the central part that with the time has been inflating causing a curve in it; this fact does not deprive it of being stable).
