Danish Teak Sideboard by E.W. Bach For Sejling skabe
Original sideboard designed by E.W. Bach and manufactured by Sejling Skabe in Denmark in the 1960s. Body in laminated natural teak wood, it shows us a design with clean lines and elegant simplicity. The front is divided into three streets, behind four sliding doors, which keep a large central module (with a pair of height-adjustable shelves) and on the sides: on the left another module (with adjustable shelf) and on the right a piece of furniture bar with a mirrored bottom at the top and a pair of central drawers (both with an upholstered base and a useful height of 4.5 cm) As a last significant detail, we refer to the shape of its handles, all of them under the concept longitudinal, combining the grooves (on the central doors) and those sculpted on molding (on the sides).
Aesthetically, after being completely restored, it is in very good condition, mitigating any signs of wear on the dash, and only the drawer upholstery shows a slight tarnish. It should be mentioned that the legs are not the original ones, having been changed by their last owner for sloping ones that are equally typical in Scandinavian furniture of the time.
And remember: its timeless lines make it ideal for any contemporary setting ;)
