Diplomat Chair by Finn Juhl for France and Son Denmark
Armchair created in 1961 by Finn Juhl, for the prestigious Danish label France & Son, which he baptized with the distinguished name of Diplomat, in keeping with its refined design. Here is the version with a high backrest, the least common, with a seat height of 45cm, it becomes a versatile piece that functions as both a presidential chair and an armchair. It has a teak wood structure, with geometric lines softened through curved finishes, reflecting an organic vision of the piece, an unmistakable hallmark in all of Finn Juhl's creations. Note that the seat has metal tensioners, which produce a pleasant sitting similar to the springs; This comfortable effect is enhanced by the slight damping movement of the flown backrest.
In very good aesthetic and structural condition; The wood was restored, preserving the original upholstery (in high quality Kvadrat fabric), which was dry-cleaned (mitigating the light stains that are distributed throughout it).
And remember: we have two units and if the upholstery does not convince you, we offer you the opportunity to choose another fabric and color from the wide catalog we have, without altering the final price; For this, do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com ;)
