German palisander sideboard
Piece made during the 70s, in the former Federal Germany. It has a body made of rosewood plywood, on a structure of black lacquered metal legs, matching the circular cut handles. A design reminiscent of the works of the American Florence Knoll Basset, with simple lines without ornamentation where all the charm lies in the expressive shape of the veins that draw the natural wood, which gives it sobriety and elegance. The front has two sliding doors that keep a central compartment, with an interior height of about 57 cm (in oak wood, light tone, thus enhancing its brightness) with adjustable shelf on eight levels and on each side rows of five drawers (each with a height of 8 cm by 22.5 cm wide) covered with white plastic decorative laminate.
In very good structural and aesthetic condition, after complete restoration, it shows very slight signs of use (as a result of wear and tear and tarnishing of the drawers.
