German yellow Ceiling Lamp from ILKA PLAST

Radiant original lamp from the 70s, designed by the Ilka Plast firm in their workshops in the German city of Walsrode. Made of yellow plastic, with the "magical" ability to subtly mutate its plastic appearance when turned on to a kind of marble in dark and light tones; achieving a very effective visual effect.

The lamp is in excellent condition, it retains the vivid color of the first day, which shows the good quality of its raw material. Electric part revised and fully functional. It uses an E27 screw-in bulb.

And remember: the technique to achieve this luminous effect was lost when the factory was destroyed by fire, giving this piece a rarity given that the specimens diminish over time ;)
