Mid-Century Danish Teak Secretaire
Beautiful piece of Danish origin, created during the 60s in teak laminated wood. A clean and functional design where all the leading role falls on the expressive natural grain of the wood. It has a front organized into two registers, divided in its central part by a sliding desk that is hidden in the width of the main body when it is collected (at its maximum extension the cabinet reaches 55 cm deep, leaving the work surface, the height of the board being 69 cm). The upper register is formed by an open box divided into two compartments, the left one crowned by a small drawer (with a useful height of 5 cm) and a removable mirror "hides" under it. The lower register is made up of a set of three drawers, the first with a lock and its corresponding key (it has a useful interior height of 7.5 cm, with the remaining two drawers being 12 cm).
Solid and completely restored, by the excellent restoration department of El recibidor, silencing the signs of more than half a century of use.
And remember: it is never too late to rescue the habit of writing your artistic or personal concerns on paper, and this is undoubtedly the right piece of furniture ;)
