Mid-Century Fresco Teak Sideboard by V.B. Wilkins for G-Plan
Small sideboard designed in 1969 by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for the Fresco range of the prestigious British label Gplan by E Gomme Ltd. Body in beautifully grained teak wood, which perfectly embodies the aesthetics of an era influenced by Danish furniture. Both the doors and the drawers have built-in handles emulating the high Scandinavian cabinetmaking. The three interior modules have shelves that can be adjusted in two heights and the wide intermediate drawer is compartmentalised and upholstered. The body stands on a frame of turned legs joined by an arched crossbar, an unmistakable design of the brand.
Completely restored, achieving an excellent aesthetic and structural condition.
