Mid Century Modern Sideboard from Jentique FURNITURE LTD.
Original piece stamped on July 15, 1966, in the English county of Norfolk, by the prestigious Jentique label. This small teak sideboard belongs to the Scandinavian range that the firm designed at the end of the 60s, referencing it with model number 174. The front consists of a trio of drawers with different heights: the upper one of 7cm (with compartments) the middle one 11cm and the lower one 13cm. On each side there is a sliding door that saves space with a fixed shelf. To finish the sideboard it rests on four practical legs with a metal base that is adjustable in height (allowing better accommodation on uneven surfaces).
The condition is very good for a piece that is approaching 50 years (just mentioning slight scars on the base of the legs, from sweeping without much care).
And remember: Jentique always had a very traditional manufacturing process, as evidenced by the fact that they mark the end date on all their sideboards (they did it handwritten in pencil on the back of the top drawer, always on the left side ... country of beautiful customs ;)
