Model nº80 oak desk by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Mobelfabrik
Marvelous visible back desk, designed in the 1960s by Arne Wahl Iversen for the Danish label Vinde Møbelfabrik. Here is the model nº80, a captivating elaboration in laminated natural oak wood, which shows us a sober design characterized by the clarity of forms and the sophistication of its finishes. The front is made up of five drawers, divided into side duos and a larger central one (the latter has a lock and its respective key). Mention that the legroom is 64 cm long by 62.5 cm high. The rear part has two lateral storage modules (all of them 36cm long, 16cm high and 21.5cm deep).
We have completely restored it, having smoothed out the various scars that the board had (we can attest that its previous owners gave it a lot of use and it still looks great).
And remember: in 1968 Arne Wahl Iversen's designs began to be highly appreciated, since that year he participated in the Geneva furniture fair and Grace Kelly and her husband Prince Rainier of Monaco were just there, who saw one of his creations and immediately bought it .... it wasn't this desk, but they sure liked it too ;)
