Sideboard & Buffet by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn
The prestigious Bernhard Pedersen & Søn label provided its select public in the early 70s with this pair of pieces in natural teak laminated wood. An elegant design that shows the quality of the creations that the Danish firm launched on the market; always looking for the association between utility, beauty and formal simplicity, as is present in the sublime furniture they contemplate. Composed of a sideboard (79cm high x 210cm long and 51cm deep) with a sophisticated double sliding shutter door, with vertical opening, and interior distributed in three streets: trio of central drawers (the upper one with upholstered base) flanked by wide modules (with three adjustable shelves in nine levels). On the sideboard there is a showcase (67cm high x 179cm long and 30cm deep) with double sliding glass door and two compartments divided by a three-level adjustable shelf (mention that the useful interior height of the showcase is 40.5cm).
Restored in our department, until reaching a very good structural and aesthetic condition; mitigating its signs of use (only mentioning a slight "stubbornness" on the left door when we tried to open it fully and a stain on the top of the display case).
And remember: you can use the two pieces separately, since the display case sits on the sideboard without any type of anchor ;)
