Swedish Pendant by Carl Thore for Granhaga Metallindustri
Pendant light designed in the 60s by Carl Thore for the Swedish lighting company, Granhaga Metallindustri A / B. Aluminum structure (with copper-like color bath) that draws two cones (in the shape of a diabolo and the lower one being larger) and a diffuser grid (removable) at the base. Mention the optical effect produced by the ring, located in the narrowest part where both cones meet, which when the lamp is turned on causes the light to bounce off the outer surface of the entire lamp.
Fully functional, replaced electrical part (white cable and rosette, both in plastic). Use a lamp holder (suitable for both led or filament bulbs) with an E27 socket max. 75 watts (if it is filament or its equivalent in led). Shows excellent cosmetic condition.
And remember: Carl Thore is actually a pseudonym used by the Swede Sigurd Lindkvist, when being sales manager, of Granhaga Metallindustri, he presented his lights to a client and did not mean that the design was his ... modest that was the man ;)
