TEAK SIDEBOARD DUNFERMLINE BY TOM ROBERTSON FOR MCINTOSH
Sideboard belonging to the Dunfermline range of dining room furniture, designed in the 1960s by Tom Robertson for the prestigious Scottish firm A.H. McIntosh & Co. High quality piece in its longest version, with teak wood structure. Front composed on the left side by a trio of drawers (the highest compartmentalized). Pair of doors in the central part, which reveal a wide space with an elegant shelf with two depths. And a bar cabinet on the right side kept by a folding door, with an original sliding shelf at the top, as a tray to prepare cocktails. Combination in the design of the handles: the drawers and the folding door have longitudinal handles (admirably asymmetrical cut) and in the central doors spherical handles; This particularity shows us the fascination for the detail of the Scottish firm.
Its state borders on excellence, without appreciable signs that denote its half century of life.
And remember: in The Hall we put at your fingertips the authentic Rolls Royce of the British sideboards;)
