TUBULAR STEEL CANTILEVER ARMCHAIR 226-B BY ADICO
Canteliever chair with armrests model 226-B created by Adico in the 30s and which is currently reissued by the Portuguese label within its "Adico Classics" collection. The concept of cantilever chairs is characterized by the lack of rear legs, bearing the weight of the previous two and its horizontal extension, was devised by the Dutch, linked to the Bauhaus School, Mart Stam in 1926. The one that here contemplates and that once produced the Portuguese stamp, is reminiscent of the mythical S 64 by Thonet created by Marcel Breuer; It shows a tubular steel structure enameled in epoxy paint, and lacquered wood for both the seat and the armrests and backrest.
And remember: contact us to know more about the different finishes in which it can be made and their prices (changing the color of the structure or in polished stainless steel ;)
